Privacy policy

This policy explains what QuipShip stores when you use the service, why, and what we never do with it. QuipShip is operated by [legal name and address to be added].

What we store

  • Your account email. The address you sign up with. We use it to sign you in, to help you recover your account, and to contact you about your account. If you add a recovery email, we store that too.
  • Your mailbox contents. The messages, folders and contacts in your mailboxes, including anything you import. We store them so we can deliver your mail and show it to you in webmail and your mail apps.
  • Your domains. The domains you connect and the results of the DNS checks the app runs on them.
  • Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. We keep a record of the mailboxes you pay for. Stripe handles your card payment under its own privacy policy.

What we never do

  • We do not sell or share your mail data.
  • We do not show ads and do not build profiles of you.
  • The mail app loads no third-party scripts or trackers.

Cookies

The app sets one session cookie to keep you signed in. We use no advertising cookies.

Analytics

This website (www.quipship.com) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It does not set cookies. The app (app.quipship.com) uses no analytics.

Where your data is kept

Your mail is stored on QuipShip's own mail server. We use Cloudflare to deliver the website and the app to your browser, and for some of the storage the service needs, for example while an import file is being processed. Stripe processes payments. [Server location (country) to be added.]

Keeping and deleting your data

When you delete a mailbox, its contents are deleted. You can also ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by writing to [contact address]. [How long deleted data remains in backups to be confirmed.]

Your choices

  • Export your contacts as a vCard file at any time.
  • Ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
