What do I need to get started?

A domain name you own and access to its DNS settings, usually at the company where you registered it. Then create a QuipShip account and add your first mailbox.

Do I keep my domain?

Yes. Your domain stays registered where it is. You add the mail records the app shows you (MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC), and the app checks them.

Which mail apps work with QuipShip?

Any standard mail app that uses IMAP and SMTP, including Apple Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, and the mail apps on iPhone and Android. The settings are the same everywhere. You can also use the webmail in your browser.

How do I bring my old mail over?

Upload your mailbox export: an mbox file from Gmail Takeout, Apple Mail or Thunderbird. Messages land in matching folders. Contacts come in from a vCard file.

Is there a trial period?

No. You can create an account and look around without a charge, but sending and receiving mail needs a mailbox, and each mailbox is $2.95 a month from the day you add it.

How do I stop paying?

Delete the mailbox. Its billing ends with it.

How much storage do I get?

Every mailbox includes 25 GB. If you need more, you can add 20 GB to a mailbox for $1 a month.

Is two-factor authentication included?

Yes. Two-factor authentication is on every account, along with a recovery email and a way to sign out everywhere at once.

Do you offer a calendar?

Calendar is on the roadmap.
